Again, from the Sketchbook. Based on a screenshot, but added my own sketchy touch, the flower and shading (somewhat, haha)should do a painting based on this. I like it enough that I'd like to do a painting (or CG) based on it.
I know exactly which screenshot this is from. There used to be certain parts in Disney films where you can tell the artist put more effort and detail into it. This was one of those I think, right? I love it!
You mean like a Brigitte Bardot thing? I guess so. I think asians are easier to recognize, because their features are very distinctive. Not many other races in the world have their upper lids hidden under another flap of skin, you know. I think the french are more diluted, plus they have some of the same origin the english do...unless they're corsican, of course.
eeep exactly ... but like i think it was easier to recognize peoples origins from physical features back when people didnt mingle as much between races sooo eeppp that may be a good or bad thing... AAAnyways how do the corsicans look?? very robuste?
Um...yeah, sure, I guess. But then you can't keep the world and its people from moving around and mingling, right? I think corsicans have a very strong profile. But then of course, Napoleon was corsican, so I dunno...
It would've been dull to just draw her like in the movie, I find. I once saw an illustration of Ariel done by some artist who imprinted her with a very unique look, yet it was still Ariel. I've had that in mind ever since and everytime I try to draw my own version of her.
