As of today, I've been deaf on my left ear for 3 days now. The story of how this came to be is pretty dumb (obviously. I'm a spaz)
So get this, on wednesday morning I decided to clean my ears before going to work. I used Q-tips. I know, I know what they say, that cleaning the inside of your ears with Q-tips is possibly the worst thing you can do, but I've always done it this way and it's not like I do it everyday, man.
So anyway. I cleaned my right ear, like I always do. I used as many Q-tips it took until they came out white, lol. I'm very obsessive when I clean my ears, but again, I do this somewhat often, and never hard.
So I was done with my right ear and got out a new Q-tip. I jabbed it on my left ear and that was the last I saw of my regular hearing LOL
I don't recall doing it any harder than what I usually do, so I dunno what the hell happened there.
It felt clogged, like when water gets in or you come down from a high altitude...since it felt like nothing major, I dismissed it and went my marry way.
I got to the office, charged my mp3 player, put on my headphones and realized I had about 20% of my hearing left on my ear. I didn't make anything of it, it was just annoying and again, it felt clogged that's all.
Yesterday, it was still there and now it became REALLY annoying, specially when I was up and at the office. All afternoon it bothered me, cos now it felt like this pressure and all loud noises became specially loud, as they felt they went through one ear, amplified inside and jammed into my deaf ear.
If my coworkers talked to me from the left side, I missed a lot of words and all.
Today I woke up and I thought it felt better, as I was up and about, it felt the same and it still does.
I called my parents and mom said that I should go to a doctor next week if it persisted through the weekend.
I'm still hoping it'll sorta 'go away on its own' (I'm that sort of person, I just hope problems will solve themselves, like when I broke my camera, lolol...yeah, that didn't work out well...)
So I'll see what happens this weekend.
I do no think I punctured my eardrum, cos that would've hurt, right? IDK.

So, you'll notice I haven't uploaded any art whatsoever in like...gajillion days...yeah, it's just that I've been busy, I don't really have time to do art anymore. It's sad, I used to draw all the time years ago. Now I can barely doodle here and there while I'm waiting for something to load at work ><;
The other night I felt like drawing so bad, I got out a few sheets from the printer, my new pencil set (which I've hardly used, of course) and threw a few doodles around. I drew characters from Casino Royale (the original, with Peter Sellers, not the Daniel Craig vehicle ^^) Incidentally, Peter Sellers is my favorite Bond, haha.
Anyhoo, I had no refenreces at hand (it was really late, I wans't gonna start up the DVd just because of a silly doodle), so the characters don't really look like them, even if they are cartoony...unless you connect the points in your head and you're really familiar wih the movie, you can't tell it's Casino Royale.
I forgot to bring it to work so I could scan it and post at least something that resembles art, but I forgot it at home, doh.

In the meantime, enjoy whatever thing from work I'm posting. I've been thinking that once I get more graphic work done, I'll delete all of those pieces and stat a new gallery for graphic design only. Those pieces and my arts really shouldn't mix, specially if I send my dA link as part of my resume......
